Rapid Ag Nanofiber Formation Via Pt Nanoparticle-Assisted H2-Free Reduction of Ag+-Containing Polymers

Abstract One-dimensional Ag nanostructure-based networks have garnered significant attention as next-generation transparent conductive materials. nanofibers (NFs) with high aspect ratios decrease the number density required for percolation; hence, they form qualitatively superior films. This study reports a novel method rapidly fabricating NFs via Pt nanoparticle-assisted H 2 -free reduction of solid-state AgNO 3 . Our results first indicated that polymers can be source hydrogen gas in presence nanoparticles; above 10 5 were obtained herein by heating -containing polymer short period time and an open-air environment. not only successfully reduced amount residue often encountered spun but also created effective self-supporting system does require external reducing supply. The NF highly transparent. Moreover, mechanism formation was investigated. We demonstrate proposed exhibits potential producing yields simple rapid manner.
